October Female Student of the Month
Tori Gardner is the 17 year-old daughter of Belinda Romero and Robert Romero. With an approximate 4.0 GPA, Tori is currently ranked number one in her graduating class.
As a member of the National Honor Society, Mighty Tiger Band, UIL One-Act Play, and UIL Academics, Tori does not have much free time. Tori takes all advanced classes including Advanced Placement and Dual Credit course. She has received the Pre-AP Geometry and Pre-AP Physics awards and has consistently stayed on the All “A” Honor Roll.
Tori plans to attend either the University of Texas at Austin, Trinity University in San Antonio, UTSA, or St. Edwards where she would like to major in Criminology. Her strengths are Strategic, Command, Learner, Futuristic and Ideation.
October Male Student of the Month
Eric Wages is the 18 year-old son of Curt and Charmain Ostrander. He is currently ranked fourth in his graduating class with an approximate GPA of 3.97.
A very active student on the high school campus, Eric is a member of the National Honor Society, UIL One-Act Play in which he has had a leading role several times, Mighty Tiger Band, and UIL Academics. He has been awarded the Perfect Attendance award, All “A” Honor Roll, and Pre-AP World History in 10th grade; All “A” Honor Roll and Theatre Student of the Year in 11th grade. Eric has also participated on the Cross Country team, competes in Power lifting and runs Varsity track being recognized as All-District.
During the summer, he worked for PAPE-Dawson Engineers as an intern. Upon graduation, Eric plans to attend either Texas State, the University of Texas at Austin, Trinity or UTSA where he would like to major in Criminal Justice which will lead him to his dream job with the FBI. Eric’s strengths are Strategic, Achiever, Competition, Ideation, and Learner.
