FHS summer school will have 2 sessions. The first summer session, June 8-23, will be for students who failed classes during the school year and need to recovery credit. Letters will be mailed for students who failed courses the first semester mid-May. Letters for students who failed a course for the second semester or the year will be mailed at the end of May.

Floresville High School is hosting an intensive, school-day college test preparatory “Boot Camp” offered by Test Prep Seminars on Wednesday, March 9th at the FHS Auditorium. Please click above for detailed information.
On Wednesday, January 6th Floresville High School classes will resume in the 100/200 building. Second semester schedules will be available for student pick-up starting at 7:30 am on January 6, 2016 in the cafeteria. Due to many changes, it is very important that every FHS student pick up a new second semester schedule. Parents and students will be able to access the ramp to enter the building or visit the front office, counseling suite and/or administration office starting Wednesday, January 6th. The portables currently serving as the front office, administration office and the counseling suite will no longer be utilized in that capacity.
Parents may resume picking up and dropping off students at the front entrance of the high school, between the old Lawhon Gymnasium and the Theater Arts/Auditorium buildings which are the buildings closest to Hwy. 181 across from Little Caesar’s Pizza, beginning Wednesday, January 6th. Tiger Lane from the Portico back to the Tiger’s Den parking lot is off limits to all vehicles. Students should not park in the Tiger’s Den parking lot as busses will continue to utilize this area after the winter break for student pick-up and drop-off. The auditorium parking lot will be used for staff and visitor parking only.

The process of assessing and determining the extent of the damages at FHS has been a lengthy one, and we are glad to report that it is coming to an end. Friday, November 20th, the engineers reported with confidence FHS students would be able to occupy the 100 and 200 wing no later than January 6th. Final written reports and recommendation will be submitted early next week, which means repairs will begin the week of November 23rd. If progress on repairs is faster than expected, we will certainly share that information as soon as possible.
