“AF Rapid Strike Simulator Visits FHS”
Hosted by the FHS AFJROTC, the U.S. Air Force Recruiting Service's Rapid Strike Simulator was at Floresville High School recently. Rapid Strike is a state-of-the-art flight simulator that demonstrates the full breadth and capability of modern American airpower. Missions include an F-22 interceptor mission, C-17 cargo drop, satellite communications, an unmanned combat aerial vehicle hunting an adversary and a Special Operations mission. The Rapid Strike experience provided hundreds of FHS students a better understanding of how different Air Force career fields work together and how our Airmen succeed as a team. It also brings to life the cadets’ study of the Science of Flight.
