These are introductory classes to agriculture. These classes touch on many agriculture issues and history. One of the missions of this class is to increase awareness of the global and technological importance of agriculture and its contribution to day to day life. Introduce and enforce ethics and good decision making skills.
Grades- 50% Daily Grades, 50% Tests. Keeping work in a folder is required and graded students are responsible for keeping up on their work. Students are responsible for taking care of work missed due to an absence. Being prepared for class with appropriate attire is a necessity.
Class Rules- Be respectful of Everyone, Dismissed by Teacher not bell, Be prepared,
Raise hand to be recognized, Follow student Code of Conduct (verbal warning referral.)
Lab Fee- Will be required for safety glasses and gloves unless otherwise provided.
