Breast Cancer Victims Honored

At the October 12th home football game, the Tigers didn’t explode out of the tiger blow-up with their usual zeal. Instead, the Tigers entered the field walking reverently carrying posters, made by the FHS Student Council, honoring the victims of breast cancer. Asking kids to make a personal connections and show support in a more specific way, encourages them to focus on the true purpose of the “pink”movement, raising awareness and support for the victims of breast cancer.

New Access Control Procedures for All FISD Campus Visitors

1. Locate the intercom/camera at the front main entrance.

2. Press the “PUSH” button on the intercom.

3. Stand in front of the camera on the panel.

4. Be prepared to show identification. Approved identification includes: driver’s license; Floresville ISD (or other school) ID, passport, or other government issued ID.

5. Hold the ID in front of the camera so it is viewable.

6. The door will be unlocked for you to enter the building.

7. Do not allow other visitors to enter with you.

8. Report to the main office to check in and receive a visitor's badge.

Please join us on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM to meet your student's teachers and learn more about FHS. The event will begin with a brief welcome in the FHS Cafeteria.

Practice Lockdown Drill

Parents, yesterday we had a required practice lockdown drill. This drill is practiced to ensure students know what to do in case of a real emergency. In a lockdown drill, the school building is secured and all students, staff, and visitors are safely sheltered inside the building. The purpose of a lockdown, is to keep all students safe from any danger inside or outside the building.
