good morning FHS my name is DJ Cordell and I more than casaretto please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in the pledge to the Texas flag  I put to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all honor the Texas flag I pledge allegiance to the Texas one State under God one and indivisible and now for a minute of Silence this past Wednesday Wednesday band went to the area competition in Callan Gregory High School Portland High School you doing okay bye mine for the last performance and then came 9:30 and we step out on that field and give it our best it just wasn't enough leave is to buy again  the great year  I got this book. Talk to you whether it's been a great year I love everybody in the muddy tell you Dan and the sophomores and freshmen the best of luck future everyone who marched did a great job but sometimes whatever you try this just someone who's better than you but I feel like we had a really good performance one of our best I think we did good last night how come it wasn't good for us but I felt like he didn't van trade one of my best performances last night we didn't make it to states which was kind of awful but B20 other bands at least to get to the finals so we're not bad bad it was just we weren't good enough to make it but you know it happens sometimes next time  the October female student of the month is Mercedes what are you guys Mercedes is a 17 year old daughter of Jackie and Marcelo who Diaz her strings are restorative learner strategic achiever and futuristic upon graduation in June Mercedes would like to attend Saint Mary's University Texas A&M University of Incarnate Word or Our Lady of the Lake she has already received scholarships for the pre freshman engineering program at St Mary's University it has received a scholarship for Our Lady of the Lake University her hopes are to have a career in medicine or become a medical examiner Tober male student of the month is Devin Chandler Devin is the son of Warren and Amy Chandler his trains are included T chick tellapur communication and positivity Devon plans to graduate as a distinguished graduate in June he plans to attend Texas State University in San Marcos the hopes of having a career as a family doctor or a fraction year the Floresville High School ROTC jaguar and tiger teams had the overall what results in the neisd hosted Fall Festival of orienteering it is the most competitive ROTC orienteering meet in the nation including over 100 Cadets 200 teams in 50 schools from across Texas and the South Central us the floor so condensed captured three of top 12 trophy plaques for grabs no other school plays as often in the varsity and advanced categories good Angel Roberston lead her team to a second-place finish Varsity wow Stephen O'Brien let his team to third-place Varsity could I Justin Baker LED his team to a second-place finish in the advanced division congratulations FHS cats  it's time to start paying your class dues dues pay before the end of the first semester are 25. players after that they go up to $35 to pay your dues now the following people are collecting dues Freshman Class dues to mrs. Rogers in 417 software class to use to mix Isaac Simmons in room 234 junior class to since is Clark and room 407 in your class dues to miss this ache in room 109 this month is principal appreciation month so make sure to say thank you for his hard work when you see the principal around school  thanks for watching FHS have a great day
