Graduation

A Guide to Live Streaming Graduation

Part 1 – Getting to YouTube
There are multiple methods to watch videos on YouTube. We are listing a few of the most common. No matter which you choose, an internet connection is always required.

Method 1 – A Computer or Cell phone
The week of graduation we will provide a direct link to the stream. You will simply click the link to join the stream.

Method 2 – A Smart TV
Smart TVs have integrated internet connection capability and usually have apps already installed for your use. You will need to open the YouTube app. There are 2 common methods for finding it. 1) There may be a dedicated YouTube button on your remote control or 2) you may need to open the application launcher (differs by manufacturer) and look for the app. Once in the YouTube app, you will need to search for the stream/video. We will provide keywords to get you directly to the video.

Method 3 – A Streaming Device
These devices transform a “regular” tv into a Smart TV. There are many options to choose from, but here are some of the most common:

Roku
Apple TV
Chromecast
Amazon Fire TV

Once the streaming device is operable, you will follow the same directions as a Smart TV; open the YouTube app and search for the video.

Part 2 – Finding the Stream/Video
In an effort to make the search as easy as possible, we will tag the YouTube stream with keywords that will narrow your search results.
